List of Krea Models
Krea 2 Large
krea/krea-2-large
Krea 2 Large is Krea's flagship text-to-image foundation model, larger and more flexible than Krea 2 Medium. It is strongest at photorealism, with natural lighting, shallow depth of field, and real-world textures, and it also handles expressive and artistic styles. Krea says Large is more than twice the size of Medium and uses softer post-training, which gives it results Medium cannot match. Medium is the faster and cheaper option, and is described as especially stable for illustration and anime styles. Through the API you can pass up to 10 style reference images with an adjustable strength, use moodboards, set the aspect ratio (1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 4:5, 2:3 and others), and tune a creativity setting. Output renders at 1K. It suits developers who need photographic images or a consistent look driven by reference images. We found no published benchmark scores for it.
ImageKrea 2 Medium
krea/krea-2-medium
Krea 2 Medium is a text-to-image model from Krea, released in July 2026 as the mid-size option in the Krea 2 family, which also includes Krea 2 Large and Krea 2 Medium Turbo. Krea describes Krea 2 as its first foundation image model trained from scratch. The Medium tier is smaller, faster, and cheaper than Large, which is more than twice its size. Krea reports that its post-training gives stable, consistent outputs across generations, with the strongest results on illustration, anime, painting, and other expressive or artistic styles. Krea publishes no benchmark scores for it. Through the API it generates at 1K resolution and supports aspect ratios including 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 4:5, 2:3, and 9:16. It suits developers who want stable, general-purpose output with stylized or artistic looks at a low per-image cost.
